New zine in the making!

24 August 2025
Been locked away over the last couple of week, writing, researching, and piecing together a new zine that’s starting to take shape. Be out when I finish it at some point!
Operational Handbook on MAKING ART
Manufacture, Distribution & Eventual Destruction of Works, Marks, & Other Disruptive Outputs
It's going to be published under the banner of the Ashmouth Assembly. Written by me.
It’s won't be on theory. It's not for galleries. It’s a disruptive handbook, a set of rules, instructions, and provocations I've compiled.
This zine is about stripping art back and spreading it: the mark on a wall, the scrawl on a flyer, the painting on cardboard with stolen art supplies, the zine left in a pub, the photo that glitches because your camera’s broken, the messy notepook doodle thrown online that somehow catches light and spreads further than you ever meant it to.
It’s about refusing permission, refusing galleries, refusing prestige, and remembering that ANYONE can make, ANYONE can steal, ANYONE can spread.
Inside: ten rules for starting, making, repetition, mythologising, scattering, and burning.
No gatekeepers. No purity. Just fire, myth, and marks.
It’s about art as disruption, as resistance, as something infectious that spreads from hand to wall to street to screen. How to make art, burn it, and spread it like wildfire, IRL in the alleys and underpasses, and online in the cracks of the network.
For the makers, the misfits, the dreamers, the saboteurs those who DON’T WANT TO BE (and WON’T) wait to be chosen.
